How do you create or export an ICM file from Open Roads?

This file is requested from the client. How is a ICM file created , exported or made to be able to delivery this file to a client

  • When an i-model is "published" with OpenRoads, three different types offiles are generated:

    1. i.dgn - desktop application file. Can be attached as a reference file toMicroStation orMX drawings.
    2. .imodel - mobile application file. Used by software for mobile devicessuch as BentleyNavigator.
    3. .icm.dgn - civil model interoperability file. Can be used within civilproducts and hasintelligence. Trimble Business Center (TBC) can read the ICM file andunderstands some of the civil element information. TBC users can turnfeatures on & off or obtain station/offset information from elementson the drawing.

    Then you can deliver the icm file to your client if that is the only file requested.
