test7.dgnOriginal Ground.dtmHello, I have a drawing where I am creating an intersection over terrain. I am in the process of creating alignments with profiles at each of the 4 corners for each of the flowlines and back of sidewalks (shown in red).
I have figured out how to drop a template on each of the alignments (one for curb and gutter and one for sidewalk). Unfortunately I am running into 2 issues: i) Curb and Gutter is generating backwards (gutter extending toward sidewalk)ii) Sidewalk is not wide enough
I have selected Edit Template Drop to try and mirror the Curb and Gutter template, but it was unresponsive to the Mirror or Reflect checkbox (below image).
I have attached the drawing file and terrain file. It would be greatly appreciated if I can be provided step by step instructions on how to do this properly.
That Mirror and Reflect is for when you are inserting components or templates into a template you are editing. You could insert your curb and gutter with the Reflect ON and get two "Curb and Gutter" components in one template then delete the one you do not want. A better way would be to choose the "Reflect" option when placing the Template. I assume you are using the "Apply Linear Template" tool.
Additionally, you can go into the properties of the Linear Template Element and change the "Reflect" option between True and False to get the curb to flip sides. See attached image/video.

Hi Mike, the reflect is not appearing for me under properties.
It looks like you used an actual corridor verse the "Apply Linear Template" so the mirror/reflect would not be part of that type of "Corridor". Apply Linear Template creates a corridor element that is a bit different.
You would need to us the first method. i.e. insert the component into the template with the Reflect option on then delete the one you do not need.
Thanks. Using "Apply Linear Template" allows me to mirror/reflect. Ultimately my goal is to implement a curb and sidewalk template. My library has one or the other. It would be ideal if there was a template available that combined curb and sidewalk.
