It appears that the ORD software uses only the first set of angles/distances when processing survey data. Most Surveying crews turn multiple angles/distances (rounds) when traversing and the software should recognize/analyze these and average the results for the final angle/distance used to process coordinates. I cannot find a setting anywhere to enable the software to do this. Need help. Thanks
I suggest processing your survey data using survey software. As you can see by the vast replies to this and earlier posts that no one really uses this for survey data processing. Most all brands have their brand appropriate software for processing. You'll achieve much better results using the one appropriate to your brand. We process all our survey data through TBC before exporting coordinates to other platforms.
