Why are my dynamic cross section views blank?

Happy new year all,

I am working on an Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) project in OpenRoads Designer CE 2021 using their custom workspace.  I have created a corridor using templates modified from IDOT's stock library, and have the corridor's end conditions referencing an active terrain model.  This is the second time I have used OpenRoads, as opposed to PowerGEOPAK, to create corridor models and cross sections, and the first time all files, including the workspace configuration, are entirely on ProjectWise.  I cannot for the the life of me get anything to show in my dynamic cross section viewer, and I have tried all of the following:

  • Deleting dynamic cross section views via the keyin command (multiple times)
  • Ensuring the 3D model is turned on as a reference in the dynamic cross section viewer
  • Ensuring all the layers of the 3D model are turned on
  • Ensuring there is, in fact, an active terrain model
  • Changing all the settings in the dynamic cross section viewer
  • Opening the dynamic cross section viewer using both the alignment method and the corridor method

In addition to this, I can cut cross section sheets and linework is created.

All I see in the dynamic cross section viewer is a blue diamond at the active profile elevation.

I am thoroughly stumped.  I have followed the wiki article on this site with several solutions to this problem, and none of them have resulted in any change.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Will Vierling
