Hello,
I'm trying to convert a Navisworks file to a format that can be imported into a Bentley product, but I'm having trouble with file size. The NWD file is 148 MB, and the exported FBX file is 1.7 GB, which is too large to be manageable.
I have access to several software packages including Autodesk, Trimble, and Bentley, but I don't have access to tools like 3D Object Converter, AnyCAD Exchange3D, or Okino PolyTrans.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can successfully convert the Navisworks file to a format that can be imported into Bentley, or for ways to reduce the file size of the FBX export? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Import the NWD into iTwim then export that to IFC. you can then reference the ifc into a DGN and merge to master.

If you have Trimble do you have Quadri, if so you could use that
