I have an existing terrain, however the existing pavement has had an 1.5" overlay, I need to incorporate this into the existing terrain. I was wondering the best approach to raise the existing pavement features 1.5", or the best way to do this?

Do you need this incorporated into the overall EG terrain? If so, create a clipped terrain model from existing ground, using a shape constructed from the existing pavement features. You can specify an offset during the process to get the 1.5" overlay. Then create a complex TM with your original EG as the primary and merge in the newly created existing clipped TM. If you have interior islands, medians, etc. that need to be accounted for, the process becomes a little more tricky, but doable depending on what elevation they need to reflect.

No I do not need it incorporated into the existing TM. WE show the proposed contours as part of the final plan set, and the Project managers usually comment that the contours do not tie in the best?
