3618.test10.dgnAttached is an intersection drawing I am working in (working in 2D view). I need to extract vertical profile information from particular lines of a linear template tied to an alignment that has an active profile associated with it. If I select the alignment itself, my application is able to identify that it has a vertical profile (below image):However, if I select one of the lines generated from the linear template (construction lines turned off), my application fails to recognize a vertical profile associated with the line. For example, in the image below I am selecting the back of the sidewalk from the linear template. I am using the linear template Curb/Gutter/Buffer - Sidewalk - Tie Slope (below image):Any help would be appreciated.Thank you!
Hi Michael,
It looks like you are trying to use Vertical Simulation in Autoturn. You should use your Profile view for this - it does not use 3d design features.

Hi Mark, Thank you for your response. This is actually for AQCESSRAMP which is by the same company as AutoTURN. AQCESSRAMP represents a major technological leap forward for streamlining curb ramps design that are compliant with regional guidelines.AQCESSRAMP is performed in plan view and it works well as long as the geometry has a vertical profile associated with it.
ahh makes sense - i have found Transoft support is quite good and have applied a few ORD compatibility fixes with Autoturn i have raised with them over the years. I would lodge a ticket with them about this as it may be a compatibility issue they have on their end.
Thank you so much, Mark. I am hoping there is a way to manipulate ORD to allow AQR to recognize the vertical profile from one of the pieces of the linear template.
