Hello,
I want to insert an embankment into my pond in ORD 2021 release 1. The enbankment should be on the elevation 27.90 and the bottom level is on the elevation 27. I already created a solid element that presents the embankment (pink one):
My question is how can I trim this embankment to my terrain in the pond? Should I use other funktion than solid? Maybe mesh? But how can I trim it to my terrain? It supposed to look like this:
If you already have them pond as a terrain model, you could create the embankment as a separate terrain model and create a closed mesh between the two terrains. You could complex the 2 terrain models together to get a single terrain model with the embankment as well. You could also handle this with a corridor or linear templates. There are a bunch of ways to do it, so picking the best way is a matter of what you are trying to get (finished grade surface, volumes/quantities, etc.)

Alternatively, you can assign a "Design" feature definition to your mesh and then create Cut and Fill Volumes. Then, just discard the Cut mesh and keep the Fill mesh. That totally depends on what you want to achieve.
Thank you!
Isabela,
I design this as an embankment dike, you could make a typical profile in the form of an embankment with the slopes projecting onto the bottom. The top of your embankments is at 27.90 and the slopes are automatic
