I am attempting to support an Engineer that is unable to work with the drainage menu in InRoads V8i.
Some Googling showed we should be able to create an sdb file. When going to File | New there is no drainage option.
Reading the same article it appears as if, "Drainage Structures.dat file needs to contain definitions of pipes and structures". I relayed this information to the engineer I am working with and he says the dat file does have pipe information. While I am not an Engineer I suspect user error with this situaiton. How do I verify the dat file has pipe definitions included?

You will have better luck for InRoads questions if you move your post to the civil software forum. It's labeled OpenRoads, but plenty of us use InRoads over there.
