I was able to use Feature Definition point controls prior to moving to ORD. Now I use the same work flow and add the corridor references and the template does nothing. Is this a known defect that is perhaps fixed in a later version of ORD? It's also possible I am doing something wrong in the work flow.
Added point control as usual, with selected feature definition.
Corridor reference added with correct feature definition.
Hi Alan,I wonder by chance if the point control feature you are selecting is part of the corridor itself, so you are getting a circular reference? If you look in the bottom left corner of your screen do you get a error message? something like "Circular reference detected"Hope this helps,Matt
It looks like the element you're attempting to target is in another referenced Corridor (BL US84WBRP inside CORR_RDWY_WB_RAMP84.dgn). Try using the Corridor "control type" instead. That will allow you to use the feature of another corridor. You will not need it as a External Reference in Corridor Objects.

Thanks Matt. No, separate corridors, separate dgn's in fact.
In the past we were able to target feature definitions inside other corridors. This was convenient because one didn't have to set specific station ranges for each point control. Just one station range, then set the target feature definition, then add lines as corridor references as needed. Using the "Corridor Objects" method would require me to set a point control for each corridor target station range.
Thank you for the suggestion, Shawn.
