Hello, I have a drawing with an imported LandXML which projects a surface. In order for AutoTURN read the surface, the LandXML/Geopack surface needs to appear as a triangulated Mesh so that AutoTURN Pro can use to generate a 3D simulation. Just to illustrate, I want to turn this:Into something like this (Surface Readable by AutoTURN):Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I realize this is a referenced LandXML file. I am wondering the best way to merge it as mentioned above?I am currently having trouble executing the above command: Mesh>Create Mesh, it prompts "Element is not valid for tool":
If this is a reference file, can you just open that file and create your mesh there? If this a terrain ruled by the XML file, you may be able to Remove Rules to create an independent terrain. If you don't want to make edits to your original file, you could make a copy of the DGN just for this purpose.

Hi Michael,
A very simple way to do this is to just save the triangulated terrainmodel as dwg. After that, you can save the file as dgn again.

Hi Louis, Thank you for your response. How would I save the LandXML terrain model as a dwg?
Would I do this procedure within the MicroStation interface?Again, ultimately I am trying to get AutoTURN be able to detect the LandXML surface.
Hi Mary, this is a reference XML file. What would be my best procedure to make this mesh surface readable by AutoTURN?
