I am using openroads 2020 Release 2 for a project . I am creating Cut fill volumes from Civil Analysis. I have only 5-6 short corridors (100-200m long) to analyze which is in an attachment file. I have also ensured there is not any unwanted reference files with huge terrain.
I have clipped existing terrain to the extents of the corridor and removed the rules. The unsuitable material is the top 150mm of existing ground. I had applied a surface template on the clipped existing terrain for unsuitable material.
When i create cut fill volume the process is quick if I don't toggle on calculate unsuitable material. But it runs forever if I toggle it on.
Any suggestion or insight will be helpful. Thanks.
Hi,
You don't still have the old terrain reference attached or any non-displayed references with large data sets in them? I don't believe this tool honours reference (or level) display visibility so that could be causing the issue?

Thank you for the Response. I don't have the old terrain referenced. I just have the corridor file attached with No Nesting toggled on. The corridor file too has only the corridors and no existing terrain.
