Using Civil geometry, and snap at circle center with geom baseline active feature definition, I used line between two points to draw a line of exercise given in QuickStart for Geometry - Road fundamental. Everything went fine but after that when I select the line with element selection tool, the line length and direction text that appears along and is also editable doesn't appear. How come I view that automatically as in the tutorial video? kindly guide me to those settings.
I believe that Jing-Jing is correct about the situation, as I turned off handles many years ago with- of course- the same results. I have no idea why one can turn handles off, but there it is!

It should be working if the "Disable Handles" OFF
