I've been trying to review some survey we received, but when I try to open up the Background Map from the View Attributes, nothing appears. My coordinate system is defined and I'm logged into Connection Client. Any help would be appreciated!
Same problem. When my project start, the background satellite map is on, but after 3 month, the map gone with same coordinate setting and same drawing. I re-installed software, still doesn't work.
Recently, we received similar request. It seems that the issue was due to the internet connection to BING map server. In our last case, the VPN was used and connected to somewhere else, then the BING map was not displayed. User turned off the VPN or connected to US, the Bing map is then displayed.

My colleague has same problem. But he find a way get the Bing Map. Use Raster Manager, attached file and select Bing Map. Then you can choose either map or aerial. But the coordinate system has to be setup first. I also realized that I can still open the Bing Map of USA and Canada project by using background map, but I cannot open other countries Bing Map. I'm current working on an Europe Project, my colleague working on an Africa project. None of us can use background map for the 2 projects
