Drape from terrain (only vertices)

Hello community. I have created a terrain and I need to know how to extract the elevation of points at the intersections of a grid drawn on it. 
In Inroads there was the option "drape surface / Drape vertices only". Finally, the information is needed not as a report, but as graphic entities.

I look for a tool in Openroads but all I get are graphic entities with a huge amount of unnecessary points.
