Arc Between Arcs and offset ?

Hi,

I cannot draw the line between R=5000 and R=460 with R=400 and backward L=100 forward double spiral R=90 L=90 and back offset 15

I am attaching the dgn file and the jpg file.

if i use "Complex transition between and any element arc" command it doesn't do offset

    It did seem to work as you defined using OpenRoads CE2022 R2

    Sure, See attached.  I did not trim the ahead geometry but other than that I used the same settings you showed in the first post.

    Hi mike,

    this is not working right

    I have shown what should be in the attached dgn. I fixed it in the Inroads V8i (SelectSeries 2).

    OK, I did used a 400m Radius. That is what was on the first post.  I do see that the 100m back Transition did not get constructed.  I did it with a 460 radius and it did solve but again no 100m back transition.  Strangely the back transition does not show graphically but does show in the Geometry Builder dialog.  It does not appear to be correct in the Geometry Builder i.e. the start and end Radius show as 0.0m, as well as the Arch Length even though some of the other data on the spiral are included an appear to be known criteria. Also the Begin Point coordinates in the Geometry Builder data are not correct they are (-2631.59, -1042.68) meters off. 

    All very strange and appears to be a defect.  May even be several defects here.  Arc between arch issue and a geometry builder issue but it could be a related issue.
