I have been struggling to successfully use the table editor to edit my horizontal geometry. For instance, I would like to use the editor to quickly round off the decimals on bearings. When I attempt to do this, the table editor is throwing the ahead tangent lengths to 0 and basically cascades down the rest of the alignment making it useless and forcing me to undo. I'm able to change bearings using the heads up graphical method, but I'd rather be able to use the table. For reference, I've created geometry numerous ways - using individual lines and arcs and complexing, or using complex by PI, complex by element, and I run into the same issue. Is there an obvious solution or flaw to how I'm going about this? I'm using 2021 Release 2.
EDIT: I may have found a solution - it seems I have to check the box next to the subsequent bearings in order to edit a bearing without causing a domino effect. I guess I don't understand what the check boxes are doing? Holding the parameter constant?
Those locks for back or forward seem more priority driven apparently. I've noticed making a small change and hitting apply before adding too much helps. I've found that Complex by PI can be used initially without curves and transitions - then go back and add them into the editor... seems to work more consistently when making changes in the table later.

Thanks, I will try to use Complex by PI and add curves after the fact, which is closer to the workflow I'm used to in InRoads anyway. I've almost got a handle on the locks in Table Editor, just down to figuring out how it behaves with compound curves and transitions.
