I am having issues with extending geometry. I have ramps for an interchange tied to a mainline baseline. When I extend the mainline baseline the ties to the ramps shift the stations do not hold at the original station they shift basically the distance the baseline was extended. I it appears like the tie is set based on the distance from the original beginning of baseline and set to the beginning of the revised baseline. Has any one else experienced this and is there a solution.
Your ramp alignments have rules attached to them linking to mainline. If you simplify the ramp alignments they should be back to PI base geometry and remove other rules.

From your description, this is the way ORD operates when you change the start of the mainline geometry. The other alignments are linked to the internal chainage of the mainline, and as a result will shift with the mainline if you make any changes to it.If the location of your interchange is stable enough that it can be fixed in place, you could snap the start or end locations of the geometry to simple cad lines. That way you still get the offset from the mainline, but you set the chainage to a fixed point.
