I am having an issue when creating 'Superelevation Lanes by Road Template' in which the command only creates the left lane. I have narrowed the problem down to the template as I tried the command with a different road template and it

RE: Superelevation Lanes

Glad you figured it out! Sorry for the late response here! Here's a similar post that may help in similar situations... RE: [ORD 2022 R1] Superelevation Lanes Offset from Dynamic Origin

RE: Superelevation Lanes

I have on occasion found a need to use a point control to tie a template point to the alignment that would usually be automatically attached to the centerline point of the template. This gives you even more flexibility than simply always having the origin of the template applied to the centerline alignment.

RE: Superelevation Lanes

Justin,

Thanks for reaching out! After a few painful hours I finally discovered the issue. The template's origin was offset 0.010 to the left and for that reason the R_EOP coordinate was less than 12 at 11.990 whereas the L_EOP was at 12.010. Although the R_EOP was indeed constrained 12ft horizontally from the CL, I assume the software did not like that. The fix consisted of clicking on the CL point and selecting the reset origin command.

Best, Dylan

RE: Superelevation Lanes

Are your PC assignments correct?
