Sheet Index - Multi-Line Text for a property

I am trying to come up with a strategy for a custom Sheet Index property (In my case a Project Name) that may need to be anywhere from 1 to 3 lines when placed in the sheet seed title block and the final result needs to be properly center-center justified.  Using a separate custom property for each line doesn't work, as they populate with "####" if you leave the property blank and it wouldn't justify properly for a 2 line Project Name.

This would be a place where being able to put the old school "\010" in the property's value for a carriage return would help, but it appears that doesn't work at all anymore.

The Sheet Index is finally working well for us with regard to numbering.  It would be disappointing if we ultimately had to adjust title block text on every sheet.  Hopefully, there's an obvious solution and I'm just missing it.

  • Thanks.  That's how we used to do it for SS10.  For the ORD DOT configurations we work in, the border is part of the sheet seed dgnlibs or sheet seeds...and there are many of those in the configs.  For one DOT the border is a cell, not a reference.  I'm looking into getting the dgnlibs to look in the project directory for their border, but that seems like a lot of configuration calisthenics to go through when the Sheet Index ought to be able to handle it.  We could also create references for each project with just the border info, but I would like to avoid "have to touch each sheet model" solutions or have to write another script to do it.
