Workset

Question

We received files from a client, but when opening one of the files, the message "WorkSet not found" appeared. The project was created in a ground system, scaled down from grid. Do we need the workspace created by the client to retain any settings for the files?

In MicroStation CONNECT based products, DGN is associated with workset (similar to Project).

 You can continue to edit the DGN without client workset. The settings of used feature definition in DGN file can be continue to use or edit. 
 Certainly, if you can have a copy of client's workspace and workset to be installed, it will make all settings and feature definitions in synchronized between both parties.
