Hi
I am using openroads 2021 Release 2.
I lock the corridor once the edits are done to avoid it processing. But whenever i open dynamic cross sections view, the corridor gets processed. The time taken to process is much larger than the time taken to process when i was just editing with the dynamic cross section view closed.
Any Insights / suggestions will be helpful
Hi Ramanan,
This is apparently as designed, although it is something that everyone wants fixed. I'm pretty sure that every one prefers an instant display of their current 3d model instead of it regular reprocessing to make sure info is up to date (especially for those of us with large models that take time to process). I believe it has something to do with the quantities data in the XS view, but if this is turned off why reprocess.
In addition there is an issue where disabled point controls and parametric constraints cause a Corridor reprocess even though they are disabled.
Regards,
Mark

Thanks Mark. That was helpful. Seems like I have no option to avoid it.
If you open a dynamic cross section view from an alignment rather than a corridor object it should not process any corridor.
