smart line horizontal, vertical, active profile

Question

In order to eliminate the difference in the connection of the road with different alignment at the intersection, I will draw a smart line and adjust it by holding only vertical at the point control. By the way, there is no element for this line in the alignment list in the explorer window, so why?

Does that graphic have a Feature Definition? The green diamond to the left of the name you're pointing to inside Explorer OpenRoads Model represents the Feature Definition (e.g. Geom_Baseline). Any new element intended for the "Alignements" or any other feature type (e.g. Linear Geometry) in the list must have a Feature Definition assigned. The "Smart Line" tool is not a Civil design tool that will automatically assign a Feature Definition via the Feature Definition Toggle bar. There is a tool to add a feature definition after elements are placed. Set Feature Definition is the tool you need. If you're referring to the Profile view, those graphics will appear deeper in the parent/child relationship of the Alignement or Linear Geometry (clicking the small arrow out to the left of the parent in the list). Setting the profile active (context menu) may help it appear in the list as a child of the 2D alignment/ linear geometry element.
