Can someone explain how exterior corner sweep angle works in Linear Templates? e.g. what does the default value of 5 degrees mean?
I've searched for an explanation in documentation and forums but can't find much, I assume because it's simple but I just haven't understood it. I'm trying to understand how to adjust it to get better results on corners.
Thanks
Sweep angle only comes into play when there is no curve on the PI or vertex. If you do not use a sweep angle when you have a vertex (PI), then the template will not fill in as it turns the corner.

So 5 degrees is the regularity of points it generates around the corner? i.e. 25 would be less points than 5?
That sounds correct.
