Hello Bob!. If you work in construction, you can take advantage of "duplicate" entity definitions to differentiate between existing elements and new construction elements. When you do a topographic survey of the construction zone, sometimes you register old elements and other new ones in the same topographic and that are of the same materials. You can link a level to a definition of old asphalt and another level to new asphalt. It's an idea. Health

When I mentioned CSV, i was abbreviating Comma Separated Values. So as Mike states, you could use LG,LOC in the Alpha Code field, but that assumes only one of the two Feature Definitions gets applied that set of Alpha Codes.

You can add more than one Alpha Code to a "Survey Feature" it is just a coma separated list with no spaces.

In our workspace, we added the code to the end of the separate feature definitions. For example, we have two codes for lip of gutter (LG and LOC). The two feature definitions are "X-Curb And Gutter Lip_LG" and "X-Curb And Gutter Lip_LOC". I couldn't find a way to add two codes to the feature definition.

I believe it is a CSV list with no spaces in that field. I have used it but cannot get into ORD right now to confirm.

Be aware that if you use VBA Macros, each code must be assigned the macro.

Instead of assigning them by Feature Definition, they must be assigned by Alpha Code.
