When importing a *.job file into a FieldBook using TrimbleLink, ORD creates a *.DC file and a *.XNF file both located in a temporary folder on the local PC @
"C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\Bentley\OpenRoadsDesigner\10.0.0\SurveyTools\TempLoadData\"
Can we change this location by a configuration variable and if so, what would the name of that variable be? I would like this folder to be on a network drive so that many people can access the modified survey data without having to log onto that local computer.
Thanks.
P.
I have figured out that there is no need for this. The temporary DC file that the operation creates is only used to write the data from the job file to the actual DGN. The actual DGN contains all the information and as long as you keep the data file in the Fieldbook, it will "follow" the DGN file.
