Is there a way to place a line at a fixed distance from a given station on a horizontal alignment? For example, if I want to place a line at 345.67' down station from station 123+45.67, is there a way to key in the station + the distance along the alignment? This would be very helpful in situations where I have station equations in a horizontal alignment.
Hey Chris!! ... yes, use the DeltaStation-Offset option on Civil AccuDraw. Are you familiar with using Civil AccuDraw? Before you place the first point, enter 'o' and the heads-up prompt will ask you to select the Reference element. Pick your alignment. Then it will prompt you to Select a reference Point. Select a point from wherever you want to measure your 345.67 distance from. Then enter that distance and lock it in, and set the Offset at 0.00. That should do it. If you need better guidance just let me know.
