I am working in a utility drawing file. I have all my sheets and models and saved views created. At some point, it appears that the default model had the sheet one saved view applied. Now, I can only see that small section of a 43 sheet set in the default model. There are a few changed I need to make, so I really need to see the rest of the model. Anyone have any idea how to get my default model back in full? I have found everything except this on saved views through here and google.
Try clicking the Managed View Groups dialog and navigating to the Default view that's using the Default model.
If that doesn't work you likely saved the view to the "Default" view. To correct that, click where the graphic below is pointing to recall/saved view dialog. If you see something other than you're sheets in that list (e.g. Untitled), that may be the view you no longer need and it can be deleted.
You can also try opening the Models Dialog and double clicking the Default model.

I am starting to understand how saved views and view groups work within ORD. I think this "problem" highlights the need for a master container for the creation of sheets (if I understand Joe Zerkus's original question correctly). I have learned that the default model of the master container controls how plan sheets look when the view synchronization is set to "Settings From Design Model". That setting is an excellent method for setting and revising how sheets look. However, if a simple reference file is attached to a sheet, the default model of that reference can dynamically affect sheets - and perhaps without being aware of why sheets are looking different. Please refer to youtube.com/IrNpjq4n0GI further understand this process.I hope this sheds some light on Joe's question.https://youtu.be/IrNpjq4n0GI
Thanks Keith! Yes, I did notice a few related workflow concerns in Joe's original post, but didn't want to open up that can-of-worms just yet.

...it may be worth reviewing Named Boundary topics on BentleyLearn and Bentley's ORD Youtube for more basics on the subject.
