What options do we have for using Project Defaults with AutoCAD?
I've gone to considerable lengths in our workspaces to load client XIN files and have DTM and ALG folders pointed at the proper project folders. I don't use InRoads with AutoCAD much, but I would like to, but I get frustrated with the browsing to this folder and that folder.
In MicroStation, I can define confguration variables and also use some that bentley provides, like _DGNDIR.
What can I use with AutoCAD?

Chuck,
We are not aware of any AutoCAD configuration variables that can be used in Project Defaults. I double checked with development and it was confirmed that the code only looks for the MicroStation configuration variables. If desired, please file a change request through the following mechanism:
http://appsnet.bentley.com/srmanager/addcall.aspx
However, the InRoads Group does respect Windows System Environment Variables when using AutoCAD. See the "Set a Project Working Directory" help file.
Thanks,
