I'm trying to import an landxml file I exported from SewerGEMS into ORD and I'd like to assign a specific feature definition I created (still under StormWater) to them when I import them in. Is there a way to set that?
Right now there's no

RE: ORD Import Drainage LandXML Where to Set Default Setting

Thank you for the reply! I'm importing from LandXML since my SewerGEMS is a more advanced version than the ORD used by local DOT so I can't do the submodel. Will the imported drainage utility settings still pointing to the workspace and workset I'm using? Is there any way I can override that in ORD? For example everything is imported RCP Class III - Circle, can I change it to box structure?

RE: ORD Import Drainage LandXML Where to Set Default Setting

Hi Lorraine,

If you’re not having any luck, one option to consider is using the ModelBuilder function within ORD to import the drainage network from a spreadsheet.

It enables a network developed in another software to talk to ORD by allowing you to map a network, or just a portion of it, to a particular feature definition.
