I'm trying to convert some corridor meshes to workable 3D solids in .DWG.
I tried using the command ''Convert to Solid'' but this didn't immediately work. Browsing on the forum I found some threads suggesting to remove the data from the file

RE: Corridor Mesh to DWG Solid

Mesh need to be closed, there is no magic, choose the less painfull way, close the mesh element, convert them to solids (if you can) or model in the application that you want to have results you expects

RE: Corridor Mesh to DWG Solid

Or Autodesk should allow other thing than solids in their programs...

RE: Corridor Mesh to DWG Solid

The moment you have more than one template drop, or any complex corridor modifications, you end up with meshes that are no longer closed.

Bentley really has to give us a solution for this because we need to be able to reliably export solids for BIM applications.

RE: Corridor Mesh to DWG Solid

Whenever I export my meshes I, of course, get Polyface Meshes.
