There is an Export Leica DBX 1200 tool in the Tools->Application Add-ins for InRoads. I'm not sure if this is the same as the total stations but it may be worth giving it a try.

Almost all of InRoads exporting is done with reports. The source for the reports is almost exclusively XML.
Reports in turn, export ASCII, HTML or XML. Reports can do this from various points within the product. InRoads Survey Codes are store in the XIN file - which is XML and certain report style sheets can convert them to ASCII, HTML or XML.
Unless the TPS or some software it uses supports importing codes in ASCII, HTML or XML, I suspect you are out of luck. You probably need to contact Leica to see what they recommend.

caddcop: What format is it looking for? We were able to make code lists for Carlson and TDS using the XML Reports and there is another format delivered with the product. There are reports in the XIN and Survey folder of the XML Reports that work with the XIN file. Open the browser and use the File Open menu to select the XIN file. The filters dropdown have a *.xin file in the list. These reports can make a CAD Managers job much easier as you can see very quickly data on multiple preferences, styles, named symbologies and more. You can copy some of the delivered reports and make new ones to list almost anything you want about the data in the XIN file.

Hi caddcop ,
I'm not looking for a report style.
Leica Total Stations Series 1100 and 1200 have an own format for survey code lists.
And I like to know if it is possible to export my survey codes out of Inroads Survey to that specific file type. An the Leica Code Lists are binary not xml or ascci!
