Power GEOPAK v8.11.9.912
Greetings,
Regarding GEOPAK Drainage, we are having trouble getting the ponding width computations to update when changing between different inlet types. (have tried multiple types, and they all appear as the same value). We are having to change inlet types on our project, and the below process is what I have been using to change inlet types, but when checking for ponding width, the width appears to be the same value, no matter which inlet we select at this location. (have tried other locations on the project and the same thing happens).
I listed the steps below so it is hopefully easy to follow/diagnose, and hope to help others that may come across this problem in the future.
Upon opening GEOPAK Drainage, I go to Component -> Node -> Edit, and the Node Configuration dialog box opens up (attached below)
(Inlet Type BD1) (Inlet Type PSL RH 4x4)
I will then change the library item to the desired inlet type
I have then hit apply in the top left corner, as well as open up Component -> Network -> then click the analyze button under Computations.
But when I go back to Node Configuration and look at the computations for ponded width, the value stays the same between both inlet types, even though the dimensions change. (attached below)
My question is, how to get the correct ponded width to compute? Given that the length, width, grate capacity, bypass, and efficiency have changed between the two inlets, it seems like the ponded width should change too, even if just slightly.
Thank you in advance

Even though no one answered your original post, thank you so much for following up with your own experience. Your experience will certainly help others!
Best Regards,

Resolved - the type of inlet would not change the ponding width in this case as the ponding seems to be measured right before the inlet opening, not afterwards, but adding additional inlets downstream does seem to solve the width issue.
