Hello - Microstation PowerGeopak SS10 user here - Does anyone know a way to reduce the number of points the Cross Section Generator will put into a cross section? At this particular spot, I created a terrain and used a surface template to create the component. While it came in correctly, it added multiple seemingly unnecessary points at the tie in point (3) and the edge of pavement (2). While it is not the end of the world, it would make it much easier to use the auto-annotation tool if 5-10 slopes were not added in between these unncessary points.
If more info is needed to answer, please let me know!
While I'm not in that software today, there may be a way to filter annotations by a minimum segment length. While that wouldn't eliminate the extra points, it might filter them out of the automatic annotation.
Would you be able to attach a copy of your ITL file? Someone here may be able to help figure out where those extra points are coming from, which would also take care of the problem.

I think it meshes the components and then forms triangles. So the rectangular face of the top of a component gets sliced diagonally to form the triangles. When a section cuts the triangles, any place a leg is crossed, it makes a point.
