Masking Problem

I'm having a problem where I am using masked text in a file and when I draw a line in the file (a series of grid lines for a profile) certain levels do not get masked out but if I use a different level they do get masked out. Why do some levels get masked but other levels do not?

  • It could be a priority setting. These can be applied to elements and levels, I believe. These are limited to 2D models.

In a 3D file, it can be an elevation issue. if the lines are at a higher elevation (Z) than the masked text, the lines will not be masked. Unless you specify the display style to use file order, and then you can use the Selection - Bring to Front tool to manually reorder the file.

    Or use a pen table.
