I have been working in opensite modeling off and on now for about a year. I just logged in and notice that the design file scale icon is no longer shown. When viewing text on contours or other terrain elements you were able to adjust the overall scale of the drawing to 1"=100' for example and the text would increase in size. Does anyone no what this command is called and where it can be found?
An alternative to pinning the drawing scale to the ribbon is the Tool Box option. This can be accessed from the Backstage User Settings and docked as show in the illustration below. (Sometimes adding and pinning to the ribbon changes the default sizes of other icons and groups.. A personal preference to maintain default behavior as much as possible)
By toggling off some unnecessary aspects of the default tool box (right-click on the toolbox), you can make it dockable as shown below...

I agree with the method of "pinning" as described by Jimmy. One can pin all manner of ribbon information to make it common throughout the workflow.

You can click to Tasks: Survey; and then find "Drawing Scales" in the Drawing Production ribbon.
Then, you can right-click in the Drawing Sales, and select "Pin to all workflows"
You can see it in every workflows you used in OpenSite Designer.
