&lt;p&gt;If so this is controlled by the range&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;zero range searched in both directions&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;negative range searches to the left&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;positive searches to the right&lt;/p&gt;
