I've been having issues with the view in ORD not displaying properly. I can't maximize the view window beyond a certain point and there is all that gray space that is not used.
I've tried the view option, and the view size tools, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software but nothing works.
If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate you sharing them.

There could be many reasons for this to happen. The user preference files for the program are located at C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/Bentley/OpenRoadsDesigner/10.0.0_X/prefs/. Have you tried deleting the entire "prefs" directory? It is possible that your user preferences have been corrupted somehow and deleting the "prefs" directory will set them back to factory defaults. This action would be the first thing that I would try. You will lose any possible user customizations, however.
When you reinstalled the software did you delete all of the installation folders (c:/ProgramData/ Bentley/OpenRoads Designer CE 10.XX, C:/Program Files/Bentley/OpenRoads Designer CE 10.XX) before reinstalling it; in other words, was this a "clean" reinstallation? As well, did you delete the Registry folders/ entries for the program to make sure that this really was a clean reinstallation?
