hi,
I have a conc. barrier in my master temple. A barrier hinge feature def. is being used on both the top (BH1-L and BH1-R) and bottom hinge points (BH-L and BH-R) , however in the 2D plan its only showing the top hinge.(BH1-L and BH1-R). Again the same feature def in being used for the hinges. If i delete out all the elements i.e pavements, and run the template as a linear then I get the top and bottom hinges. Not sure if anyone has come across this?
Using ORD10.12.02.4
Hi John,
Only Linear Features that are part of your components "Top Mesh" get displayed as geometry in the 2D model (if the Feature Definition has this flag enabled that is). Vertical faces on components sometimes display the top features or the vertical face or the bottom ones (down to sub-mm tolrances, etc.).
To get these to display try giving the BH-L and BH-R points a 1mm offset to the inside of the barrier. This usually works for us.
As a general rule, we avoid purely vertical faces on our components (we use 5mm offsets), not just to avoid issues like this, but also for triangulation of a Terrain, etc.
Regards,
Mark
