Cross Section Slope Text Favorite

I would like to be able to annotate slopes manually using the civil labeler. (Or any tool, really). 

Any text favorite I use gives me a slope of zero percent. I can only seem to find one that lets me select by element, not 2 points. Either would be fine, honestly, but as of now I can not find anything that just lets me pull a slope in a cross section model. Elevations are fine, but all my slopes are zero.

I do not want annotations of slopes between 2 linear points. I know how to do that. However, I have many small projects where the annotation needs don't neatly fit my client's defaults in their workspace, and instead of spending valuable time setting up annotation definitions that are only relevant for 15 cross sections on one small project, I'd like to just be able to pull a slope somehow, even if I am limited to just measuring the slope between 2 points I Select. 

Really I'd just like something with the functionality of the geopak XS labeler tool. 

Does this exist? Is there some reason I can not make a text favorite that measures a slope properly?
