that could explain it - we dont use picklists, just lookup to automate the values based on other properties.
What happens if you change the name of the Item Type when you update it - surely would force a full refresh when synced?

A little bit extra information, it is only the picklist portions of the item type which fail. Pay item description shown in the image of original post comes from picklist. This field will change from time to time as specifications are updated and enhanced. IN this case, client had a major change in specification from 2018 spec boo to the 2024 spec book about to roll out.

hmm we do this all the time and dont have these issues - we do have issues with D&U Item Types and other things, but Corridor Meshes usuallu update pretty easily
