Detailing Symbol Printing

Is there a way to set the Detail Callout symbol so it doesn't print? We have elements in the Construction class set so they don't print, so it'd be nice to set these so they are in the Construction class by default, but I can't figure out where this setting is in the seed file.

  • Hi Austin,

I suggested you can create a level (e.g. SymbolNotPrint), then set this level with 'plot' setting off.  Then go to Detailing Symbol Styles, create a new detailing style and set the level of Drawing Boundary to 'SymbolNotPrint'.  You can perform a testing to create a sheet model from a detail callout and the drawing boundary symbol showed in the sheet model will not be printed.  If you consider to resue the detailing style and level, you can create them in the dgnlib file accordingly.

    Regards,

    Paul
