I am new to ORD so I wouldn't be surprised if I am doing something wrong. However, this process seems straight-forward, and I can't imagine why it would be behaving like this consistently.
I have a topo/alignment/etc. referenced into the default model. No other models are present in this file at this point. This is just a design study job and there is no 3D data yet, just a simple 2D file built off of our DOT's 2D seed. I go to make a named boundary and open the create drawing dialog. There I select a single-plan seed and annotation groups, etc. etc. The main area of focus is the scales in this dialog. I should also say my default model's annotation scale was already set to 1"=40'. So naturally because of this, in this dialog I set the model scale to: 1"=40'. I set the sheet model's detail scale to 1"=40'. I keep the default option for the sheet model's annotation scale as "Full Size 1 = 1". I then go to create the drawing. The problem is, the border dumped ignores anything 40 scale related. It consistently drops a 50 scale border. This is easily verifiable as incorrect. These sheets are set to print ANSI D and all appears normal/as expected in the properties of the model. The drawing boundary that is made as a result of this process says it is at 1"=40'. The white border of the ANSI D plotting area is the real problem here as that is the element stuck on 50 scale. I cannot find a way how to remove it or change it. Changing that plotting area to ANSI C or anything does change it but I obviously specifically need ANSI D 40 Scale. I can turn it off sure but that does not solve my problem. When I go to print and try all my usual tricks from SS10 days, nothing works and the border is always cut off weirdly (or in some cases just doesn't show the border at all, even though all level controlling aspects have been meticulously maintained both in the file and in the printing options). I am well affiliated with the print organizer and all of its options so I am fairly certain that the issue has nothing to do with that but who knows.
I have several times in the past dumped all sorts of variations of 20 scale and 50 scale plans, but this is the first irregular scale plan I need, and I'm going to need it made really soon. Any insight into this issue is much appreciated. It's possible the issue is user error, I just hope it's not a too obvious one. I've tried recreating the file from scratch but the issue is clearly deeper than that.
Can you change the Sheet Model Annotation Scale in the Model Properties? When you change the Annotation Scale in the Model Properties (General Pane) the sheet outline should change size.

Thank you Mike. I thought I had done that but apparently not. Or maybe to save face I just had to restart my PC. Regardless it is working now. Thanks again!
