I have multiple corridor models referenced into my cross section sheets, but I only want to annotate one particular corridor model. When I run the Drawing Model Annotation tool, my annotation group is annotating other corridors that I don't want labeled. How do I tell ORD which corridors to annotate and which corridors to not annotate? I remember being able to do this in SS10.
Version 10.10.21.01 2021 Release 2 Update 10
Turn OFF the References to the other corridors. Then turn them back on after annotating. Each corridor would need to be in its own model for this to work. That is the only way I can think of.

Hi Mike, we have to physically detach any references to get them not to annotate - can you get referenced civil corridors to be ignore with the reference display off? I really wish it would honour element visibility so we could control it much better (or at all)

You are right just toggle off does not stop it from annotating. That is odd, that seems like something that should be fixed. Probable should not be annotating elements that are not displayed in the model.
That's dissapointing. From my understanding, this means anytime the corridors are updated and I want to update the annotations, I'll have to remove all annotations, then detach unwanted references, redraw annotations, then reattach all the other corridor models? That's frustrating and they've got to add a better way to do this.
Yes, agree. We often have multiple corridors that would appear in cross sections that would and should not be annotated. Often when cutting cross sections on one specific road a sideline road will show in the cross sections and the slope annotations would be very misleading due to the skew that perpendicular cross sections on a mainline might lay on a sideline. These could be at awkward angle making the annotations somewhat odd and not helpful.
This is also true when we use corridor models to create channels under bridges. The annotation of channel slopes from a roadway cross section could be totally random angles. We would typically want Channel cross slopes annotated in Channel cross sections but not in roadway cross sections and Road cross slopes annotated in roadway cross sections but not in channel cross sections.
