Has anyone figured out how to reference in a .jp2 with coordinate information the way you used to in v8i?
"Not Inherited" turned on was the v8i setting that allowed for correct geolocation, as I would expect in ORD....
OpenRoads Designer uses Raster Manager to attach raster image.
If the raster file (such as GEOTIFF or .jp2) has geo-reference in raster header, an option of "Inherit GeoCS from Model" will be appeared during the attaching raster file.
However, you can still attach the raster file first; and check the properties to manage an option of "Inherit GeoCS from Model"
First, thanks for taking the time to respond!
The attachment option "Inherited GeoCS from model" is not there for me. Changing it after (option is there) doesn't relocate the image. The default behavior options are there for it also, but it makes no difference; I cleared out my .upf and some .XML with the same results. I'm using 10.10.21.04
Here are some print screens
If you can use Notepad ++ or Notepad to open the jp2 file.
Did you see a line with CRS defined?
Well, Jimmy, it brings in the image according to the raster header. but since the option to "not inherent" is not there for me and HDR users... it uses the coordinates as shown below on an example vs. taking into account the coordinates in the file like I used to in v8i
<gml:lowerCorner>-98.5308837890625 29.5037841796875</gml:lowerCorner> <gml:upperCorner>-98.525390625 29.50927734375</gml:upperCorner>
If only someone at Bentley could tell me why I can't see it.... (I found nothing in config or preferences to turn it on.) I tried setting the default attachment to "not inherent," but after attachmentment, it's set to "inherited," and changing it has no effect
Guess I'm going to send in a formal request to Bentley for some kind of answer. Thanks again for your help!
