OpenRoads 10.10 .jp2 raster geolocation

Has anyone figured out how to reference in a .jp2 with coordinate information the way you used to in v8i?

"Not Inherited" turned on was the v8i setting that allowed for correct geolocation, as I would expect in ORD....

  • If you can use Notepad ++ or Notepad to open the jp2 file.

Did you see a line with CRS defined?

  • Well, Jimmy, it brings in the image according to the raster header. but since the option to "not inherent" is not there for me and HDR users...  it uses the coordinates as shown below on an example vs. taking into account the coordinates in the file like I used to in v8i Disappointed

    <gml:upperCorner>-98.525390625 29.50927734375</gml:upperCorner>

If only someone at Bentley could tell me why I can't see it.... (I found nothing in config or preferences to turn it on.)  I tried setting the default attachment to "not inherent,"  but after attachmentment, it's set to "inherited," and changing it has no effect

Guess I'm going to send in a formal request to Bentley for some kind of answer. Thanks again for your help!
