Why does ORD print construction levels when I tell it not to?

In making plan & profile sheets, we reference the alignment file (amongst other things). In the alignment file we store our alignments as well as our profiles. My engineer dumped a few profiles for exhibit purposes. We want to keep those profiles while being able to display only a particular one. In my SS10 days, for any case like this if I wanted to keep something for informational purposes only, I'd set it to "construciton" with no issue. Doing the same here seems to have different results.

I have checked and double checked that not only are the extra profiles set to construction, but all my file's display attributes are set to constructions off. It is here where I first noticed something is wrong because it turns off every construction level except for the ones living in the profiles of the alignment file. I've across stuff like that in the past with SS10, usually it's just a glitch that is easily resolved in printing. I am printing through print organizer. In the print settings for each of these files, I make sure to uncheck construction display. In SS10 this has worked with no issues. ORD clearly registers this change and turns off construction levels that live directly in my sheetfile's default model, drawing models, and sheet models. It also turns off some constructions in other files such as removals, etc. It does not, however, turn off the construction levels in the alignment file's profile views. How do I get it to turn off the extra profiles display? Seems like it just doesn't like the profiles.

I come from SS10 and still consider myself new to ORD. I hope I am not doing something blatantly obvious. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
