When I design a straight in my alignment, I use often the point and bearing function. Therefore I use "same" to retrieve the bearing of a point of a string. Retrieving of a bearing of a point is no problem, but when I press OK my bearing

Re: MX - Point and bearing bug

I think I found a workaround for this bug:

If this error appears you have to adjust the settings for that alignment.

Therefore you edit you're horizontal alignment.

In dialogbox HA0293 (Horizontal Design - Old Alignment) choose Design Parameters

Be sure that the angular units are correct in dialogbox HA0296 (Element Design Parameters)

A bug in some feature sets the angular units in a different way. For Bentley to find out where that bug is :).

I found the solution. It has to do with the regional settings in Windows. My regional settings are being adjusted (in Windows) by a logonscript. The decimal symbol was adjusted to a point(.) and the digit grouping symbol was also adjusted to a point(.).

Between the dialog boxes the value was adapted because of the conflicting symbols. This should not have to happen, because you cannot adjust the value of the bearing in "Same Bearing" dialog (box number GD0022).
