Hi--
I've been nessing around with displaying our drainage profiles via InRoads v08.09.02.16. I did an Annotate Drainage Profile, and a Place Profile Note to see how much of the InRoads text we can use with the least amount of rework. When annotating I get an offset of 18', which is correct. The drainage is 18' off the road alingment. My Problem is, while using the Place Profile Note, I either get an offset of 0.00 or it says {OFFSET}. I would like to use the Profile Note since there are more options to get it to display to our standards.
Attached is a picture showing that is just says {OFFSET}, in green. The white is the annotation.
Also, here are the commands I am telling the Place Note: GRATE INLET TYPE 2 {Delimiter} {ALIGNMENT_NAME} {STATION} ({OFFSET} LT) RIM {Elevation}
Kevin,
This is a known issue that has already been resolved for the next major release of the software. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Reference D-43455 (TR 242448)
Thanks,
Jason Smithey
I see a lot of references to TR# but have no idea what that means. Is there a way to look this up? As for the nexr major release, are you talking about a XM version update or is this V8i Inroads?
Thanks.

A TR is a trouble report. It is a means of managing problems in the software. There is not a way for you to look it up that I am aware. I just provided the TR number in case someone requests support and wants to reference this TR number. The fix is in the update for InRoads Group V8i.
