Hello,
I want to create half a dozen cogo points by graphically selecting the position on the screen to export for setout data for a building pad. I will then assign elevations to them via a tin model (i think i know how to do this bit) and give them a description.
How do i do this?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris,
You could automate this by placing graphical points into the DGN. Put them on a descrete DGN Level so you cane asily isolate them.
Then go to Auto Store Graphics.
You will be able to use the Selection set tool and store these to COGO and assign elevations from a TIN at the same time.

how can I do this using inroads in autoCAD platform. Essentially, I want to select points and creat a text file with northing, easting, and elevations.
